PROGRESS REVIEW MEETING OF CRIMJUST NIGERIA

CISLAC Team & UNODC Representatives

On Wednesday the 11th of April 2018, the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, CISLAC alongside the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC), held a Criminal Justice (CRIMJUST) Project progress review in Bolton White Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria.

The CRIMJUST project, which aims at combating drug and organized crime along the cocaine route in South America, the Caribbean and Africa, is currently being implemented by the UNODC, TI and INTERPOL. CISLAC as the National Contact of Transparency International is an implementing partner of this joint initiative in Nigeria.

 

Objectives of the Meeting

1) To discuss the on-going Institutional Mapping Phase (November 2017 – April 2018)

2) To plan and review the upcoming CRIMJUST Validation Workshop (24th – 27th April 2018)

3) To discuss the proposed activities for the upcoming advocacy phase

4) To outline ways of improving the synergy between UNODC and CISLAC in Nigeria.
